One greenhouse. Two very different futures.

These vision images are planning concepts. They help students, families, and community partners picture the goal while the final design remains subject to school and district approval.

From dormant structure to active learning center

The first improvement unlocks everything after it.

The greenhouse frame, growing benches, lights, fans, cooling equipment, and Micro Grow controls already exist. The campaign focuses on cleanup, safe access, organization, growing systems, and student learning.

Phase 1 • First priority $7,500 phase budget

Build a clean, safe foundation.

The flooring work is the campaign’s first visible transformation. It creates a stable surface for workstations, growing areas, student movement, and every later improvement.

  1. 01
    Clear and prepare

Remove weeds, debris, and anything that blocks a clean installation.

  2. 02
    Install commercial weed barrier

Cover the dirt floor to suppress regrowth and separate the new surface.

  3. 03
Add 2 to 3 inches of crushed gravel

Create a durable, drainable surface throughout the greenhouse.

Phase 1 includes more than flooring. The full phase budget also covers cleanup, pressure washing, debris removal, equipment diagnostics, delivery, installation support, and facility readiness. The original planning estimate for the floor materials alone was approximately $300 to $600, subject to an on site measurement and vendor quote.
